Float Pool Nurse Supervisor (Full Time, Night Shift, Weekends Rotate)
Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. As a float pool nurse supervisor, you will oversee nursing care, support staff, and drive quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
What you will do- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support operational strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including training, conflict resolution, and personnel policy compliance.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control and supply management.

- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate degree, Bachelor's, or RN diploma.
