Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU night shift assignment, requiring a LA or Compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

• Work in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Care for post-surgical ICU patient population
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill post-surgical patients
• Adhere to facility and unit specific protocols and guidelines
• Travelers must comply with facility's documentation and licensing verification requirements

• Active LA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent SICU or ICU experience required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required with no expiration within first 30 days of assignment
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must not live within 50 miles of the facility (no local candidates accepted)
• Professional references required in accordance with state rules
