American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN
- Telemetry for a night shift IMC Cardiovascular unit requiring BLS, ACLS, and compact or state RN licensure.

• Hospital-based IMC Cardiovascular unit (not a stepdown unit)
• Cares for cardiac and telemetry patient population
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
• Uses Epic EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Full-time, 13-week assignment

• Active RN license in state of employment or compact license
• BLS certification via AHA required
• ACLS certification via AHA required
• BSN preferred
• One year of related nursing specialty experience preferred

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors for side effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assesses learning needs and educates patients and families
• Newly hired experienced RNs attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days
• Precepted onboarding with organizational and specialty-specific competency validation
• Annual competency verification required
• Ceil blue scrubs required as dress code
• Temp-to-perm opportunity possible
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius for local consideration
• Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment
