Location: Alexandria, LA

Pay: $14-$20 (Depends on education & experience)

Full-Time

Schedule:

4 Days a week – No Weekends or Holidays

Part-Time

Schedule:

2 Days a week

Hours: 7:30a – 5:30/6p

• Assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures (you’re basically their right paw)
• Handling animals with care, confidence, and compassion — even the spicy ones
• Preparing exam rooms, equipment, and patients (fur happens)
• Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Monitoring patients before and after procedures
• Educating pet parents with kindness and clarity
• Keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes

• Veterinary Technician experience (licensed or certified is a plus!)
• A genuine love for animals — all sizes, breeds, and personalities
• Strong communication skills (with both people and pets)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Calm under pressure, steady hands, and a great sense of humor

• Can read a pet’s mood faster than their owner
• Aren’t afraid of fur, slobber, scratches, or the occasional dramatic howl
• Know the difference between a treat and a bribe
