• Distribute food and provide referrals to SNAP application assistance and other services across the 11‑parish service area.
• Pack food boxes and load trucks for mobile delivery at the Food Bank campus warehouses.
• Support outdoor service activities, adapting to environmental and weather conditions such as temperature extremes, humidity and precipitation.
• Travel to service sites within Central Louisiana, taking turns driving Food Bank vehicles as required.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive lifting, handling heavy objects, and working extended periods without air conditioning.

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds several times during a shift.
• Self‑directed and able to both lead and follow with guidance.
• Demonstrated empathy, strong work ethic, teamwork and commitment.
• Experience in non‑profit organizations or customer service is a plus.
• Will undergo a National Service Criminal History Check and drug screening.

• Travel to multiple sites across Central Louisiana during the service term.
