Job SummaryAs a Transportation Engineer, you will lead a team of engineers to plan and design safe, efficient roadway systems for communities throughout the Midwest. You will manage projects from the environmental assessment stage through construction, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local specifications, and play a key role in expanding our transportation services.

Responsibilities- Lead project activities through the entire lifecycle.
- Prepare and oversee detailed engineering analyses, schedules, and technical reports.
- Collaborate effectively with CAD designers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver high‑quality projects on time.
- Cultivate a project team culture of superior service for the customer.
- Assist in client contact and communications.
- Work on projects ranging from traffic planning and roadway & railway design to geometric layout, drainage analysis, erosion control, and environmental clearance coordination across federal, state, county, and municipal jurisdictions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- State Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one within six months.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with state DOT and county highway projects preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Micro Station, and Open Roads Designer preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
