Salary Range$20.56 - $28.79
Job Responsibilities- Promote Standard Iron's Core Values of "Commitment to People, Commitment to Customers, and Commitment to Action".
- Efficiently inspect parts of a moderate complexity.
- Facilitate actions required when Non-Conformances arise, both external and internal, including customer communications.
- Sustain quality procedures, systems, and requirements to assure customer satisfaction.
- Interpret customer prints, specifications, weld, and workmanship standards.
- Perform part inspections for ISIR’s and other production parts as needed.
- Update part specific Control Plans as quality issues dictate.
- Assist in Gage R&R and Process Capability Studies.
- Engage in Tier II Triangle activities including daily meetings to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the calibration of metrology equipment, gages, and test equipment when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Trigonometry basics and math skills, which include proficiency with fractions, decimals and both standard and metric dimensions.
- Experience with blueprint reading including basic dimensioning, true position, and welding callouts.
- Proficient in use of inspection equipment including weld gauges, calipers, micrometers, height stands, and protractors.
- Good computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Effective communication skills and working in a Team environment.
- Experience with portable arm Coordinate Measurement Machine’s preferred but not required.
- ASQ Certification or previous quality experience preferred.
