CNC Machinist - Days (Manufacturing)

The primary responsibility of a CNC Machinist is to support production operations by performing low to moderate machining operations, operating one or more types of machine tools such as mills, drill presses, lathes, etc.

Setsup basic tooling, write and execute basic programs.

Sets up, operates and programs a broad range of production work involving close tolerance and set ups that are exacting that are somewhat involved and have a low to moderate degree of difficulty.

Reads and interprets specific machining instructions from blueprints, partand machine drawings.

• Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times.
• Performs routine maintenance.
• Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.
• Participates in and contributes to Massmanslean manufacturing journey.
• Inspects machine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices.
