Materials Distribution Team Member

The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.

• Safety
  • Identify and address safety concerns
• Operate Forklift, Crane, Yard Truck, Trailers, and Basket Jig safely
  • Inspect equipment and report if repairs are needed.
• Stock product and process electronic transfers
• Monitor manufacturing orders for due dates and customer packing and shipping instructions.
• Monitor and complete Material Handler requests
• Wrap, band and label finished material for shipment
• Material Support
  • Pack Parts to packing specifications
  • Maintain quality standards
  • Wrap, band and label finished material for shipment
• Complete electronic inventory transactions.
• Perform cycle counts
• Research and resolve inventory inaccuracies
• Receiving
  • Receive and inspect inbound material for compliance with AI standards.
  • Process inbound parcels and deliver to location
• Shipping
  • Load outside carriers
  • Validate and complete shipping documents
  • Process parcel boxes for shipment
• Contribute to department’s Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Quality initiatives by submitting ideas and participating in project implementations.

Salary - $18.00 - $23.00 based on experience

High School or better.
