Pro Mach's Brenton division is seeking a qualified individual to join our Fabrication team. This role will focus on programming CNC machines, laser and waterjet to support production needs. The ideal candidate will also initiate and drive cost reduction strategies and recommend process improvements to ensure alignment with Brenton's quality standards. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and is located in our Alexandria, MN facility.
Brenton, based in Alexandria, MN, is a leading manufacturer of case packers, palletizers, shrink‑wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Brenton is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20,000 customers worldwide.
- Capable of all machinist responsibilities with little or no supervision.
- Set up and run open set‑up mills and lathes, including turret lathe, tapping machines, end hole machines and saw.
- Operate CNC equipment and edit CNC programs.
- Program CNC machines.
- Initiate and drive cost reduction and fabrication process recommendations.
- Produce high quality work consistently in an acceptable amount of time.
- Apply proper tooling knowledge.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Lay out and drill for hand layout.
- Support Brenton's world‑class checkout process.
- Communicate with Engineering and offer suggestions regarding changes to machine blueprints.

Base Hourly Range: $24.00‑$32.00
Qualifications
- Technical Degree in a fabrication trade preferred; 3 years of machining experience preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and work well in a team environment.
- Strong mechanical and mathematical skills.
