ScopeResponsible for the administration of general care of the residents and patients.
Provide regular work direction and monitors the work of Nursing Assistants and Care Attendants on assigned shift.
Works closely with the patient/resident and with various members of other departments such as activities, meal services, social services, chaplain, housekeeping, and other members of the nursing department.
The LPN may have contact with the family of the resident/patient.
Must have flexibility in schedule to fulfill an on-call rotation if required and be available for on-call medical questions and/or emergencies via phone or in person as needed.

Education and Experience RequiredMust be licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
Must obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
