Work as a member of a crew that provides STAR members and clients with safety inspection and maintenance of electric utility equipment used to distribute electricity. These include but are not limited to the duties and responsibilities shown below. Changes to this job description could occur at any time and other duties may be assigned.

Locations:
Regional Positions in 5 State Area

• Excavate and backfill ground line area of wood utility poles with provided tools.
• Assist in assessing the condition of electric utility equipment.
• Safely operate assigned vehicle, utility terrain vehicle(s) UTV and trailers.
• Utilize iPads, software and maps to collect electronic data.
• Work as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform daily work based upon goals and timelines defined by the Manager, Field Services.
• Comply with non‑CDL commercial motor vehicle requirements.
• Daytime and overnight travel is required.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role; stand, sit, lift and carry up to 60 pounds, walk, drive, and conduct demanding physical labor.

• Valid driver’s license.
