Individual Corporate Tax Preparer

Job Description

We are an established accounting firm seeking an all‑encompassing tax preparer to join our team. While providing professional services to Individuals, S‑Corps, C‑Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts, and Non‑Profits, we are dedicated to providing expert advice to the entrepreneurial‑minded clientele. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Tax Preparer in an established tax environment.

The ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers and clients; strong, concise, clear written and verbal communication skills, self‑motivation, flexibility, and an internal drive to meet deadlines. Any candidate applying for this position must possess excellent attention to detail, a keen sense of organization, a sharp ability to time‑manage and prioritize tasks. Experience with Lacerte and Quick Books software is preferred.

• 4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong computer and research skills, including experience with Quick Books and Excel
• Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with co‑workers and clients
• Strong communication skills
• Self‑motivation, flexibility, and an internal drive to meet deadlines
• A positive and professional attitude

• Federal, State, and Local income tax returns preparation for Individuals, S‑Corps, C‑Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts, and Non‑Profits
• Tax compliance and tax planning services
• Tax research
• Interaction with clients
• Financial statements preparation (Quick Books)
