Brand | Alexandria, VA (Hybrid)

300

Brand is seeking an Events Project Manager to support the execution of our in-person and virtual government IT events. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of hands‑on event coordination experience who enjoys managing logistics, timelines, registration, speakers, and sponsor deliverables as part of a larger events team.

You’ll own defined components of each event — with clear guidance and oversight from Senior Managers and Account Directors who lead program strategy and client relationships.

While this position is primarily teleworked, candidates must be based in the D.C. metro area for regular in‑person event support and onsite preparation at our Alexandria, VA office.

About Our Events

300

Brand (parent to Meri Talk) produces high‑quality programs including:

  • Executive round tables
  • Single‑track conferences and forums
  • Networking receptions
  • Hybrid and virtual events
  • Sponsor‑supported briefings and summits
  • Our audiences include senior IT leaders across government and industry.
What You’ll Coordinate

You will manage assigned components such as:

  • Registration management: attendee lists, check‑in processes, onsite registration
  • Speaker coordination: outreach, prep calls, bios, presentations, collection of assets
  • Program logistics: venue coordination, run‑of‑show updates, materials, shipping, staffing
  • Sponsor deliverables: asset collection, deadline tracking, onsite sponsor support
  • Onsite execution: setup support, room checks, AV coordination (with vendors), signage, and real‑time troubleshooting
  • Documentation: timelines, task trackers, event notes, and post‑event wrap‑ups

You will also collaborate with senior team members to ensure smooth transitions between your work streams and the broader program plan.

Marketing & Content Support (Secondary)

While this is an event‑forward role, you will also support event content such as:

  • Session descriptions, abstracts, speaker materials
  • Event emails and landing page updates
  • Coordination with creative and digital teams on promotional assets
What You Bring
  • BA or BS plus 2–4 years of event coordination or project coordination experience
  • Direct experience with logistics, registration, speaker support, or onsite operations
  • Strong communication and vendor‑interaction skills
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and shifting priorities
  • Comfort working in a structured team environment with clear handoffs
  • Writing/editing skills for event materials and communications
  • Bonus:
Experience with Cvent, Eventbrite, Splash, or similar platforms
This Role Is a Fit If You:
  • Enjoy events, logistics, planning, and being hands‑on
  • Like owning your lane and supporting a bigger program team
  • Have experience coordinating multiple moving pieces
  • Thrive in onsite environments with lots of moving parts
