Plumbing Sales and Customer Service Instructor

5-days onsite in Richmond, VA

Pay: 70k - 85k/yr | Permanent Position

We are seeking an experienced Instructor to guide and inspire the next generation. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your skills in training and instruction, while transitioning away from long hours in the field. You will play a pivotal role in preparing students for licensure testing and teaching essential skills in plumbing and customer service.

• Monitor training progress through field visits, report analysis, and ongoing student assessments.
• Identify areas of improvement with the students.
• Prepare students through training for licensure testing.
• Teach the codes for all area jurisdictions including Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, and the District.
• Present and teach plumbing course materials and information.
• Provide encouragement, feedback, and direction to the students.
• Interact with management concerning course needs and development.

• Proven experience as an Instructor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Patience and ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students.
• Strong organizational skills.

• 7-10 years of experience preferred.
• Desire to transition into a classroom setting.
• Experience in teaching customer service/sales skills to entry-level classes.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, set in a school environment. This position requires in-person attendance, fostering direct interaction with students and colleagues.

Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, VA.

The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $85,000.00/hr.
