Job Description
Primary responsibilites of the Cafeteria Aide are monitoring students' conduct in the cafeteria, and helping to prepare the cafeteria for students, for all Lunch Periods/students. This position is a (.6875) Part-time position working 2.5 hours of the school day.
Qualifications- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certificates & Licenses: None required.
- Experience: No job related experience required.
- Teaches students proper use of utensils when needed.
- Helps students develop and observe proper dining habits.
- Monitors students to maintain safety and prevent infractions of disciplinary rules.
- Organizes students to ensure orderly purchase of food and movement to assigned tables.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Hourly wage $18.08 (Additional factors in calculation, including hours, # of days, etc.)
Clearances- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
- Tuberculosis Skin Test.
- Public Health Compliance - Must follow safety and health protocols.
