Loan Operations Specialist

Spectra Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Operations Specialist to support the servicing and administration of our consumer, mortgage, home equity, and commercial loan portfolios. In this role, you'll be a key member of our Loan Operations team, helping ensure loans are serviced accurately, collateral is properly maintained, and members receive exceptional support throughout the life of their loans.

No two days are exactly alike. You may be reconciling mortgage investor reports, managing escrow accounts, perfecting vehicle and vessel liens, processing loan payoffs, coordinating insurance claims, or helping teammates navigate complex loan servicing questions. Your work will help protect the credit union's assets while ensuring our members receive the outstanding service they deserve.

What You'll DoSupport the servicing of mortgage, consumer, home equity, and commercial loan portfolios.

Prepare investor reporting and reconciliations and support Fannie Mae servicing activities.

Manage title administration, lien perfection, and collateral documentation for vehicle and vessel loans.

Maintain escrow accounts and process property tax, insurance, and PMI-related activities.

Monitor insurance coverage and coordinate claims processing when needed.

Process loan payoffs, lien releases, mortgage satisfactions, and loan maintenance requests.

Serve as a resource for members and internal employees by providing guidance on loan operations processes and procedures.

Help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and credit union policies.

What We're Looking For Two to five years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, title processing, or a closely related lending function.

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or related industry coursework preferred.

Strong understanding of loan servicing, consumer lending, mortgage lending, title processing, or collateral administration.

Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding member service.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Advanced Excel skills are a plus.

Experience with DNA/Fiserv, Fannie Mae servicing systems, Vitu, Identifi, CRM platforms, or similar systems is preferred.

Active Notary Public Commission preferred.
