- Under general direction of the Environmental Health Services Section Chief, directs, plans, implements, and evaluates the Structural Pest Control Program.
- Provides technical guidance to Central Office staff and Regional staff in carrying out inspections and interpreting and enforcing State and Federal laws and Department rules and regulations.
- Serves as working supervisor.
- Travels to provide technical and administrative presentations and consultations to interested organizations and the regulated industry.
- Schedules and oversees pest control certification examinations of individual.
- Reviews the budget necessary to carry out inspections, investigations, sample analyses.
- Attends continuing education and professional development training.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college.
- Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the fields of environmental or physical sciences.
