Position Overview
The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) serves individuals with disabilities to achieve goals of employment, education, and independent living. This role coordinates customer case records, documents field office service delivery activities, performs routine clerical tasks, and facilitates the purchase and delivery of services in accordance with federal, state, and agency rules.
Essential Functions- Works with counselor(s) and the case management system to determine daily priority of customer service delivery.
- Meets with counselor(s) routinely to review case management activities and problems encountered.
- Assists applicants, program participants, family members/guardians/care givers, vendors and referring agencies with understanding program rules, policies, eligibility criteria and various aspects of the vocational rehabilitation program.
- Triages and prioritizes incoming mail, email, phone calls, voicemail, and drop‑in customers.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of clerical related experience demonstrating working‑level proficiency and accuracy in performing keyboarding functions.
- Requires ability to travel for training.
Mon‑Fri, 8:30am‑5pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch.
