Clinical Technician Rehab Unit

Overview

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 join our team on the Rehab Unit. This role will be part-time day shift, 6am - 6.30pm. Days vary. Candidates must be able to work all weekdays when scheduled, rotating weekends. Candidates must be able to attend a paid 6 week training period at start of role, with initial five day work week.

• Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Shift: Day (6am - 6.30pm)

Schedule:

Three 12 hour shifts per week (with every other weekend rotation) - must be able to work all weekdays when scheduled, Monday - Friday as needed, rotating weekends.

Training:
Candidate must be able to attend a paid six-week Monday-Friday training course, including virtual training days, classroom training days, and hospital shifts.

• Experience:
  
  1-year acute care experience as a Clinical Tech or clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program and/or 2 years of nursing school.
• Education:
  
  High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire.

  Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills required.
