Location: RI Alexandria – 40 rooms. The hotel is part of the Residence Inn brand, providing extended‑stay accommodations.
About the opportunity The Operations Manager position at the Residence Inn Alexandria offers a chance to join a dynamic team in the hospitality industry, overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient hotel management.
What you'll get to do- Manage front desk operations, including check‑in/check‑out processes and guest services, to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are clean, well‑maintained, and meet brand standards.
- Coordinate with various departments to resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality in service delivery.
- Analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Proven experience in hotel operations, preferably in a management role, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to address guest complaints and operational issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and systems to manage front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance operations.
- Leadership skills to motivate and direct staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Analytical skills to interpret operational data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve hotel performance.
