Dev Ops engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. As a Dev Ops engineer, you know that these skills create efficiency and effectiveness—so you can quickly deliver the best solutions for clients. We’re looking for a Dev Ops engineer like you to help develop critical tools and get them into the hands of those who need them most.

As a Dev Ops engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

• 5+ years of experience developing tools and processes to drive Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops  maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
• Experience in Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, or Python
• Experience working with application development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Experience with Jenkins, Git Lab runners, Git Hub actions, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Pulumi
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in CS or Computer Engineering

• Experience managing and maintaining Elastic Search and Kibana
• Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
• Experience hosting applications on commercial Cloud providers
• Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public Cloud environments
• Experience in bringing other organizations on board with Dev Ops, championing the adoption of Dev Ops processes, tools, and roles, and working with other development teams to recast work
• Master's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related field
