• Lead daily operations of enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, stability, and security.
• Manage and mentor technical personnel across multiple IT disciplines.
• Oversee lifecycle management for infrastructure components, including patching, upgrades, and refresh.
• Drive cost savings and performance improvements through cloud optimization and proactive system monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to DoD and agency cybersecurity requirements (IAT Level II baseline).
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and configuration baselines.
• Plan and coordinate disaster recovery and continuity of operations.
• Monitor and report on infrastructure performance metrics and SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Network Engineers, and Service Desk Leads to address escalated issues.
• Support modernization initiatives and migration of systems to hybrid cloud environments.
• Serve as the primary liaison for infrastructure operations with government leadership and stakeholders.

Clearance Required
:
Top secret with SCI Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science, information systems, business administration, or information technology

• Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or information technology related field

• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) (Expert or Managing Professional)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Cloud Platform certification in one of the following: VMWare, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect

• 10 years’ experience in IT field
• 5 years’ experience demonstrating technical and process proficiency across a broad range of IT landscape technologies and key IT disciplines.
• 5 years’ experience managing on-premises and cloud infrastructure demonstrating cost reductions through cloud optimization, improved system uptime via proactive monitoring, and cloud migration of applications.
