The Opportunity:

As a Dev Ops engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges. As a senior platform Dev Ops engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change.

On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your Dev Ops platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.

You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your Dev Ops skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

The world can’t wait.  You Have:5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms and data-intensive applications5+ years of experience architecting and supporting cloud-based data platforms within AWS environments, including scalable, resilient, and secure data services5+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis

Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using automation frameworks such as Terraform or Cloud Formation Experience  building, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across development, testing, staging, and production environments

Experience developing applications in Python Experience deploying and operating containerized applications using orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or AWS EKSExperience serving as a technical lead, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, driving architecture decisions, and communicating technical solutions to stakeholders TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GEDNice If You Have:

Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Snowflake, or other modern cloud-native data platforms

Experience creating and improving continuous automation across infrastructure, platform, and application technology stacks

Experience working with modern Dev Ops tool chains, including Git, Git Lab, Terraform, and automated deployment frameworks

Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modernization frameworks supporting enterprise platform transformation

Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical fieldAWS Solutions Architect, AWS Dev Ops Engineer, AWS Sys Ops Administrator, Databricks, Kubernetes, or similar Industry Certification Clearance:

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
