Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer and support the Power BI platform, including Service, Premium Capacity, work spaces, datasets, and reports.
- Manage and maintain Power BI Gateways for secure and reliable data connectivity.
- Monitor platform health, capacity, refresh schedules, and performance to ensure high availability.
- Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and implement RLS/security controls.
- Strong Health Care Domain knowledge.
- Should have a strong knowledge in Supply Chain Business
- Having SAP BW knowledge is a Must
- Should have hands on knowledge in Snowflake
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, refresh failures, gateway incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide L2/L3 operational support and collaborate with Microsoft and infrastructure teams on critical issues.
- Optimize datasets, data models, DAX queries, and report performance.
- Establish and enforce Power BI governance, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct access reviews, audits, capacity planning, and environment health checks.
- Support CI/CD deployments using Azure Dev Ops, Deployment Pipelines, and Power BI REST APIs.
- Automate administrative and monitoring tasks using Power Shell and Power BI APIs.
- Generate platform usage, capacity, SLA, and governance metrics and reports.
