Licensed P&C Insurance Account Manager - Hybrid

Job Summary: Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines/Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role focuses on servicing personal and commercial lines accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Compensation Package:

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000+ annually (commensurate with experience). Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications.

  • 401(k) plan with a 3% company contribution after one year of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a portfolio of personal and commercial lines accounts (75% standard personal lines, 25% small to mid‑sized commercial accounts).
• Handle tasks such as certificates of insurance, renewals, and setting appointments.
• Quote new and renewal business.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Licensure:
  Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required. Life & Health (L&H) license is a plus.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in personal and/or commercial lines insurance.
• Proficiency in insurance software, with experience in EZLynx preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A stable work history with no significant employment gaps (6+ months).
• Ability to commute to the Alexandria, VA office. Remote candidates or those unwilling to commute will not be considered.
