This entry‑level position requires no prior legal work and offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of personal injury law in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.

This is a full‑time position that may include weekend and evening work. The Legal Assistant will:

• Interview new clients and conduct comprehensive intake evaluations.
• Initiate contact with insurance companies, open firm files, and send correspondence.
• Send for medical records, itemized bills, and other documents.
• Follow‑up on outstanding requests and organize incoming faxes.
• Update paralegals and attorneys on case status.
• Answer telephone calls.
• Perform administrative and other management functions related to the practice of law.

Candidate will be eligible for promotion to Paralegal after 6 months.

• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Bilingual candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Pashtu, or Amharic.

• Base salary $38,000–$40,000 plus monthly performance bonuses.
• Participation bonuses for business brought to the firm.

• Translation bonus of $1,000 for bilingual applicants (paid in two installments).
