The client is looking for a Director of Private Philanthropy to spearhead efforts in building and maintaining robust relationships with individual donors, corporations, and planned giving prospects to secure significant financial contributions.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

This role involves developing and managing the client's major gifts, capital, and planned giving programs. The Director is responsible for identifying high-value donation opportunities and implementing strategies to foster new and recurring funding.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

The role also includes soliciting donations from existing and potential donors, particularly those capable of six- and seven-figure contributions, to support the clients programmatic and operational goals.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

Furthermore, the Director will engage planned giving prospects and secure commitments to legacy giving.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

Part of the Director's responsibilities will be to elevate the clients visibility among corporations, community leaders, and financial managers, and to formulate engagement plans for the CEO and other leaders in major donation activities.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

The Director will provide organizational support for the clients Legacy Society and fundraising advisory groups, lead capital fundraising initiatives, and collaborate with the development team to craft donor-centric communications.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

This includes organizing donor recognition events and managing systems with the finance department for the administration of legacy gifts.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

The Director ensures all fundraising efforts are strategically aligned with the clients goals and prepares comprehensive stewardship and engagement work plans to maintain continuity in donor relationships.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

Candidates for the position should possess a bachelors degree, with a master's in nonprofit management, business administration, healthcare, or a related field preferred.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

A minimum of six years in fundraising, with direct experience in healthcare fundraising, is strongly preferred.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

Successful applicants will have a record of cultivating and closing major gifts and managing a dynamic portfolio of donor prospects.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;
