Safety Manager – Charles Taylor
Charles Taylor is seeking a Safety Manager in Alexandria, VA.
1099 Contract position without per-diem.
- 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
- 6-8 months
- Working on‑site with our client overseeing electrical work for a large commercial construction project
- BCSP certifications strongly preferred
- OSHA‑510 and NFPA 70E strongly preferred
- OSHA‑30 in construction and CPR/first aid certification required
- 5‑7 years recent on‑site Safety Management experience overseeing large commercial construction projects, with experience overseeing electrical work preferred
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct project safety inspections and orientations
- Provide safety training as requested/required
- Observe and monitor worksite employees and safety practices
- Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
- Perform other EHS tasks within the manager’s skill set, certifications, and authorizations
- Communicate safety standards between trades, GC, and subcontractors
