🔹 Registered Nurse (RN) Consultant – Flexible Role for Senior Care Agency

Senior Home Care located in Northern Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse licensed in Virginia to serve as a consulting RN for our new non‑medical home care agency.

🩺 This is a part‑time, consultant‑based role for 3 months, contract will be extended after 3 months
. Ideal for an RN seeking flexible hours and supplemental income.

You will play a key role in supporting the agency’s compliance with Virginia’s licensing standards, especially during the startup and early operations phase.

• Serving as the RN of record
• Providing feedback and consultation on care‑related issues and staff practices
• Assisting in the development, review, and revision of agency policies and procedures related to client care and caregiver conduct
• Participating in the creation and implementation of a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program
• Reviewing and providing feedback on client intake and in‑home assessments as conducted by agency staff
• Supporting the development of individualized care plans for clients based on non‑medical care needs and caregiver capabilities
• Advising on caregiver training protocols and documentation best practices
• Serving as a regulatory and clinical resource to the agency owner and staff
• Active RN license in Virginia
• 2+ years of nursing experience (home health, hospice, geriatrics, or supervisory experience preferred)
• Comfortable providing clinical consultation and staff support as needed
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Health Clearances
  :
  Current TB Test (within the last 2 years), COVID-19 booster vaccination, and CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Pass Background check

💼 Compensation: $1000/month flat fee. ⏱️ Estimated time commitment:
Less than 20 hours per month
