Registered Nurse; RN Inpatient Rehabilitation

Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Rehabilitation Days at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. Full Time (3x12 hour) day shift in an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit providing care to patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries, post-stroke care, and related conditions.

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full Time (3x12 hour) day shift position. This is an acute, inpatient rehab unit providing care to patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries, post-cerebral vascular accidents and more.

• Provide care for rehabilitation patients on an acute inpatient unit.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient status, document care, and administer medications as prescribed.

• Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse; 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit
• Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
• Education - BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
