Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor Behavioral Health Nights

Inova Mt. Vernon Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor to join the Behavioral Health team. This is a full‑time night shift position, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am with a rotating weekend. Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified external applicants.

• Lead frontline nursing care and clinical operations of the behavioral health unit.
• Apply nursing practice and quality tools to improve unit performance and patient experience.
• Support shared governance and decentralized decision‑making processes.
• Model the "Service Always" philosophy and prioritize patient experience.
• Coach, mentor and recognize team members to support the organization’s "People Priority".

• Certification:
  Basic Life Support; completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire.
• Licensure:
  Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience:
  
  1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or Associate’s Degree RN within 1 year of completing a BSN).

• Inpatient Behavioral Health experience.
