American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring orthopedic scrub experience, including total joint and spine procedures.
Requirements- Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
- BLS certification required (must be AHA)
- CNOR certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Must be able to start IVs
- Must be able to scrub orthopedic total joint and spine procedures
- Operating Room setting with 40-60 cases per day
- Handles orthopedic cases including total joint procedures (hips, knees, shoulders) and orthopedic spine surgeries
- Uses Epic EMR
- 10-hour shifts scheduled , 4 days per week
- No weekend requirements
- No holiday requirements aside from 1 major holiday
- On-call expectation of 2-3 twelve-hour call shifts within a six-week period
- No floating required
- Maroon scrubs provided
- 1 week of floor orientation provided
- First time travelers may be considered
