Job Title: Document Analyst – Strategic Asset Management Group

Position Overview:

ASAP is hiring a Document Analyst on behalf of our client to support a Strategic Asset Management Group based in Alexandria, VA. This is an entry-level, contract-to-hire opportunity focused on quality assurance, document review, and data accuracy related to Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) and Property Condition Assessments (PCA).

This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills, and solid proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review FCA and PCA reports to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Reformat and edit reports in Microsoft Word
    , performing administrative QA/QC for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Review, update, and format Excel spreadsheets
    , cross-referencing data with narrative text, tables, and graphs in Word documents.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of FCA and PCA deliverables prior to client submission.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews within an Enterprise Asset Management System
    , ensuring asset and capital expenditure data is accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific reporting requirements throughout the reporting lifecycle.
  • Review an average of 40–50 reports per month while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. (BA in English or a related field strongly preferred)
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in a related technical, documentation, or administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    .
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and document formatting skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines.
