Milk & Honey is a vibrant New Orleans themed Southern Brunch destination. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the face of our establishment, greeting guests with genuine hospitality and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Responsibilities- Creating a memorable first impression by warmly welcoming guests with a radiant smile and genuine enthusiasm.
- Managing the flow of the restaurant, coordinating seating arrangements to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
- Engaging guests with excellent communication, providing information about our menu and specials.
- Multitasking to handle guest inquiries, phone calls, and reservation bookings efficiently and with poise.
- Collaborating with the waitstaff to ensure timely seating and smooth transitions between guests, optimizing restaurant efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Embracing the role of ambassador of hospitality, ensuring that each guest feels valued and receives personalized attention during their visit.
- Experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred.
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours).
- Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats).
- Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
- Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
- Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
- Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
