• We are hiring immediately for a part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.
• Location:
  
  Inova Alexandria Hospital – 4320 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22304 (online applications accepted only).
• Schedule:
  
  Part‑time; days may vary – 11:30 am to 7:30 pm or 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with rotating weekends. More details after interview.
• Requirement:
  Prior experience as a cashier or in food service is required.
• Pay Range: $17.50 per hour to $17.75 per hour.
• Perks: $750 sign‑on bonus (half paid at 90 days, remaining at 180 days).

• Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

• Prepares food: washes, peels, cuts, seeds fruit and vegetables; weighs and measures ingredients.
• Moves food and equipment between stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas, respecting wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following service steps.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints courteously.
• Relays information to supervisors.
• Processes sales transactions: enters sales, makes change, accepts cards, issues receipts, and handles cash refunds.
• Maintains cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies while keeping the service area clean.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
