Asset Protection Associates are responsible for the protection of company's retail store assets by investigating the loss of asset(s) including merchandise, money and property. This role is responsible for preventing loss and shrink within their assigned stores through monitoring, investigating, surveillance and other LP tactics to include apprehending shoplifters.

• Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
• Primary contact for safety and security issues for stores in area of responsibility.
• Tours stores daily, identifying deficiencies and executing corrective action as necessary.
• Maintain awareness of high risk areas to reduce/control merchandise losses.
• Review shrink best practices and execute shrink reduction strategy drivers on store visits. Check areas such as rotation, backroom organization and follow-up areas.
• Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities in assigned stores.
• Assists in the implementation and communications of company policies and procedures related to safety and security training programs.
• Ensure a safe store environment for associates from theft internal and external.

• High School Diploma
• Driver's License & transportation required; travel across multiple stores in a District/Region
• Up to one year of related experience
• Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information
• Basic skills in MS Office
