PT Associate Asset Protection - Security - 2742 role at Giant Food
. Asset Protection Associates are responsible for the protection of the company's retail store assets by investigating the loss of asset(s) including merchandise, money and property. This role is responsible for preventing loss and shrink within their assigned stores through monitoring, investigating, surveillance and other LP tactics to include apprehending shoplifters.

• Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
• Primary contact for safety and security issues for stores in area of responsibility.
• Tours stores daily to identify deficiencies and execute corrective action as necessary.
• Maintain awareness of high risk areas to reduce or control merchandise losses.
• Review shrink best practices and execute shrink reduction strategy drivers during store visits. Check areas such as rotation, backroom organization, and additional follow up areas assigned by supervision.
• Review shrink reports and assist in responding to issues and opportunities observed in assigned stores.

• High School Diploma
• Driver's License and transportation required; travel throughout multiple stores in a District and/or Region required
• Up to 1 year of related experience
• Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information
• Basic Skills in MS Office
