All About General MerchandiseExperts in operations, process, and efficiency, the General Merchandise team ensures consistent guest experience by setting, merchandising, pricing, and signing product on the sales floor. This team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, promotional signing, inventory accuracy, merchandise set‑up, and pricing. When applicable, responsibilities also include overseeing Food & Beverage and Food Service to provide a fresh and food‑safe experience.
We own pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work to deliver merchandise efficiently to guests.

- Leading hourly team members: interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent.
- Coaching and training to build a high‑performing team.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to achieve sales and guest engagement goals—merchandising, pricing, displays, sampling, promotions, and price changes.
- Educate the team on operational procedures to improve inventory management, profitability, and product availability.
- Analyze reporting to identify gaps in GM processes and assist in developing corrective plans.
- Maintain expertise in operations, accuracy, process, and efficiency.
- Lead daily tasks: receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and posting promotional signs.

- Assign daily tasks to team members, aligning with guest traffic and business priorities.
- Set clear goals and enforce accountability.

- Work a shift schedule that meets guest and business needs (including early morning, evening, overnight, and weekends).
- Support guest services such as back‑up cashier and digital fulfillment while maintaining outset compliance culture.
- Demonstrate and enforce inclusivity, ethical conduct, safety, compliance, and brand security.
- Model physical security processes.
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the store.
- Greet and engage guests; solve their needs.

- Follow safe and secure training for key carrier roles if applicable.
- Address store emergencies and maintain compliance.
