As a Security Guard - Flex Healthcare Entry in Alexandria, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. As a Flex Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for all.

You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the healthcare location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.
• Assist with access control and visitor management procedures to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the healthcare location.

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
