As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a government-related environment, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the designated location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious conditions or activities in and around the property.
• Interact with the public and/or personnel on site, providing information and assistance while maintaining a security-related presence.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement or emergency services when required, following protocols established by Allied Universal and the site.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with established procedures.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal guidelines related to armed patrol duties and use of force.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with the use of handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
