Junior Security Administrator
As a Junior Security Administrator, you'll help protect people, information, and facilities by supporting daily security operations, including access control, visitor management, badging, monitoring, escort duties, and incident reporting. You'll interact with employees, clients, vendors, and visitors while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and hold an Active Secret clearance, we'd love to hear from you.
Capabilities
- Support ICIDS access control operations for secured facility and mission areas, including badge issuance and access permissions.
- Greet visitors, verify access eligibility, answer routine questions, and direct employees, clients, vendors, and visitors as appropriate.
- Monitor security cameras, entry points, alarms, and ICIDS alerts; report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or other concerns to the appropriate security personnel.
- Escort personnel requiring accompaniment, including visitors, maintenance staff, cleaning personnel, and others without appropriate access authorization.
- Maintain visitor logs, staff duty logs, escort logs, and other required security documentation.
- Prepare reports on daily activities, irregularities, property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, unusual occurrences, or emergency incidents.
- Contact emergency services or government security personnel when required and follow established security procedures.
- Maintain a professional business casual appearance and assist with keeping work areas clean and orderly.
- Read, understand, and follow written and oral security, access control, and administrative procedures.
Education, Certifications, and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 to 12 months of experience in security assistance, access control, administrative security support, or a related role.

Compensation
This position is offered with a salary range of $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 annually, based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and contract labor category requirements.

This position is not expected to require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be required at the direction of the customer.
Physical Demands
Ability to perform light physical duties, including lifting, carrying, and moving computers, monitors, peripherals, and other small equipment as needed.
