• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Perform general repair on air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, gas furnaces, electric motors.
• Provide preventative maintenance and diagnose operational deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems with electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Pick up, deliver, and install cases.
• Perform minor construction/remodeling projects and startup of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational/technical or trade school (plus).
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets (strong plus).
• Familiarity with single and rack systems and previous work on display cases and walk‑in boxes.
• Good driving record; able to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability.
• Can lift up to 60 lbs. unaided and stand/sit for several hours.
