Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information;
minimum Top Secret with ability to obtain Polygraph required.

License/Certification Requirement: Applicants selected must hold a state issued Masters or Journeymans License.

Applicant must successfully meet all customer-imposed requirements. Such requirements may include, but are not limited to, completion of a customer-provided weapons qualification program, successful completion of customer-directed medical screening, and fulfillment of any additional training, certifications, or evaluations as required by the customer.

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs and performance of the HVAC equipment that include chillers, DLC, DX systems. Uses judgment within limits of standard practice. Provides solutions to a wide range of problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough and practical. Objectives are specific.

• Make periodic inspections of all systems and equipment, monitoring equipment operations, and maintain equipment operating logs.
• Mentor less experienced HVAC Technicians.
• Operate and maintain site-critical systems and equipment that supply the facility with heat, utility and conditioned water, ventilation, air conditioning and other environmental and critical systems in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, industry best practices, and manufacturers specifications.
• Proficient and knowledgeable working on chillers, DXs, and DLC systems.
• Proficiently use test equipment and devices pertinent to building operating systems and analyze test results.
• Develop training procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and other related documentation.
• Provide training and evaluations for mission support preparedness.
• Inspect and adjust mechanical equipment and systems; perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, as well as general maintenance functions while adhering to energy model for building efficiency.
• Record, report, and diagnose all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences. Respond to emergency situations and perform any and all tasks necessary for the protection of occupants and property.
• Under minimal supervision, perform Facilities or mission critical environment maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

• Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8+ years of experience working with HVAC systems and equipment including chillers, DLCs, package units, and DX.
