Test Engineer

About this Position:

We are seeking a self‑motivated Test Engineer. As a member of our Agile testing team, you will support several complex and high‑volume customer systems. The ideal candidate would have experience testing RESTful services and APIs.

• Work as a member of a scrum team to develop and execute high quality reusable test cases for microservices with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• Perform tasks required for manual and automated test implementation including reviewing acceptance criteria (Cucumber/Gherkin scripts), creating integration/regression test scenarios, test cases, implementing test data management strategy, and generating required reports in JIRA
• Contribute within a SAFe environment including the Daily scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog grooming, Sprint/System Demos, PI Planning, and Inspect & Adapt events

• 6+ years of related experience testing REST, JSON, and backend APIs (SOAP UI, Post Man, or Ready
  
  API)
• Direct automated testing experience for API testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

• Knowledge of common web development frameworks (Angular, Docker, React, Spring, Node.js, jQuery, Microservice Design, etc.)
• Experience working in a Database and running MySQL queries
