Senior Software Developer

Position Summary

Advancia Aeronautics is hiring a Senior Software Developer in support of the Department of the Interior, Human Resource Directorate in Lakewood, Colorado. This Software Developer will assist with full life‑cycle Information Technology (IT) support services to support a variety of Human Resources Directorate (HRD), Human Resources Systems Management Division (HRMSD) software applications and services.

* Position contingent upon award of contract, government acceptance of candidate, and positive adjudication of government investigation.*

• Diagnoses and resolves software defects quickly and effectively.
• Works effectively within cross‑functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
• Participates in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and improving code quality.
• Completes assigned tasks within agreed‑upon timelines while maintaining quality.
• Actively contributes to sprint planning and delivers on commitments during agile cycles.
• Provides clear, concise documentation for code, APIs, and system designs.
• Follows coding standards, guidelines, and best practices consistently.
• Ensures that applications perform well under various conditions and scale effectively.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT.
• 5+ years of experience with software development.
• Experience with PHP, TUI, Moodle, Lucee Cold Fusion, Java, C++, JavaScript, and SQL.
