About the job Mid Backend Java Developer
Java Developer with experience in developing J2EE applications using REST/JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, J2EE. Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved Agile life cycle methodologies, creates design documents & performs program coding. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications using REST/JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JPA, Web Services (REST, SOAP), XSLT, XML.
- Design, develop, and implement unit and functional tests; participate in code reviews.
- Assist with database design, including stored procedures, DML, and DDL tasks.
- Contribute to build and deployment processes (Maven); work with Jenkins and code management tools (Git, SVN) / configuration management.
- Provide production support and issue resolution.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with JIRA
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with performance tools and hands-on debugging on any preferred IDE
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines
Bill Rate: $50/hr for approximately 40 hours per week
Type: 1099 or C2C
Work Authorization: H1B, GC or USC
