We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API, and Microsoft Azure cloud-native applications.
Required Skills:- 13+ years of professional software development experience
- 8+ years of experience developing applications using Java (Java 11/17/21)
- 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
- 5+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
- 5+ years of experience integrating distributed enterprise applications
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous processing
- 5+ years of experience with JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, Web Sockets, and third-party API integrations
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting application performance, memory utilization, and production issues
- 5+ years of experience using Git and Git Hub, including branching, pull requests, and release management
- 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
- 3+ years of experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Container Registr
y - 3+ years of experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights
- 3+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using Git Hub Actions or Azure Dev Ops
- 3+ years of experience with Maven or Gradle and Docker containerized deployments
- Industry certifications in Azure, Java, or cloud technologies
Skills:
- Experience with real-time data processing and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of Open Trip Planner (OTP), GTFS, or other geospatial/data integration platforms
- Experience with Azure networking, including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, DNS, Front Door, API Management, and Entra
- Experience with cloud security, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization
- Experience working in highly regulated or public-facing environments
