2)

Location: The Alfred, Caulfield, and Sandringham Hospitals.
Classification: Grade 2 Pathology Collector (IN24).
Employment type: Permanent Part‑time – 63 hours per fortnight.

• Collect specimens from inpatients, outpatients, domiciliary and emergency departments within Alfred Pathology Service.

• Minimum 2 years of venepuncture experience using BD Eclipse needles.
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Pathology Collection.
• Ability to participate in allocated shifts and/or duties and rotating roster covering weekends/public holidays as required.
• Preferably hold a valid Driver License.

• Ability to work and function well within a high‑pressure work environment.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
• Computer skills essential as blood test orders are placed online and collection is certified using electronic devices.
• Able to commute to all three campuses (Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham Hospitals).
