Sales Estimator

Job Role: Sales Estimator

Location: Alfreton

Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a steel fabrication business, who are looking for an experience Sales Estimator to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Review tender enquiries and project specifications
• Extract steelwork quantities from technical drawings
• Produce accurate, timely cost estimates and quotations
• Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and ensure optimal solutions
• Work closely with production and contracts teams to confirm pricing and lead times
• Maintain records of submitted bids and monitor outcomes
• Assist with follow-up discussions to convert quotations into confirmed contract

Job Requirements:

• Estimation experience (preferably in structural/modular steelwork)
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience using STRUMIS software (desired)

Salary & Shift:

• 40,000 - 50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm & Friday, 8am - 3:30pm
